The Shark series of Hand Toss Gliders are easy to assemble and a great deal of fun to fly. These planes assemble in minutes using white glue or Medium and Thin CA. Balance is achieved by weight hidden in the fuselage pod.
The Shark needs approximately the weight of a US Nickel to balance properly and the Big Shark requires three US Quarters (approximately 0.6 ounces of weight).
Once the plane is assembled and the weight concealed inside, the balance of the airplane is fine-tuned by judicious sanding either fore or aft of the CG (marked on the fuselage for reference).
The Shark is constructed from 1/16” Balsa while the Big Shark is constructed from 3/32” balsa. All parts are precision laser cut using a state of the art CNC Laser Cutter. These kits are made to order and comestock with “Northeast Aerodynamics Inc.” and“www.ne-aero.com” on the left and rightwing tops.
These kits are made to order so we can easily customize the engraving on the wings and tail surfaces to suit your needs for Office get-togethers, special promotions, birthday parties for the kids, one-design club projects, or door prizes.
